Brief introduction of Cone Crusher:
Cone crusher is suitable to crush various kinds of ores and rocks of medium or above medium hardness. Compare with jaw crusher, cone crusher is of stable structure, high efficiency, easy adjustment, economic operation, etc. The spring safety system of crusher acts as an overloading protection system that allows metal to pass through the crushing chamber so as not to damage the cone crusher. The safety system uses dry oil and water as two kinds of sealed formation to make plaster powder and engine oil separate to make sure reliable performance.
Working Principle of Cone Crusher:
Cone crusher crushes materials by the working surface between the movable cone and fixed cone. So it is more advanced and efficiency than jaw crusher. The movable cone is supported by spherical bearing and fixed on an hanging erect shaft which is set in the eccentric sleeve, and the sleeve is set on the stopping and pushing bearing. The movable cone and erect shaft are driven by the eccentric shaft sleeve together. The eccentric shaft sleeve is driven by horizontal shaft and fimbriated gear, and the wheel of the conveyor belt is driven by motor through v-belts. The lower part of vertical shaft is installed in the eccentric sleeve. When the eccentric sleeve rotates, there is a conical surface lined out by the shaft. When the movable cone comes near the fixed cone, rocks are grinded into pieces, when the cone leaves, grinded materials is discharged from the discharge hole. The fixed cone can be ascended or descended by adjusting setting to adjust the width of discharge hole, consequently the output size is determined.
Model and character of spring cone crusher:
Spring cone crusher is made up of the body,transmission part,eccentric shaft sleeve,movable cone part,adjusting part,insurance part,dust control device and lubrication system. The body is main part of cone crusher and on it all other parts are installed. The body is fixed on the base by four foundation bolts. Transmission shaft part is installed in transmission shaft box,small bevel gear at its frontal part is joggled with big bevel gear on eccentric shaft sleeve.The other part of transmission shaft part connect with motor through driving wheel and V-belts.Rolling bearing and sliding bearing is used for the bearing installed in transmission shaft,in China sliding bearing are prefered.
Sliding bearing will do a good job and be easy to maintain on condition of reiiable bearing quality, good installation and lubrication.
Eccenntric shaft sleeve is made up of shaft sleeve casted iron,bif bevel gear and evel bushing. Movable cone part consists of driving device and main shaft,the both are assembled together by shrink fit. Mineral distributing set is usually installed in spring cone crusher, which can make minerals be allocated equably during feeding.
Adjusting ring part is a fixed cone, its outer cone surface has buttress thread form and the inner has a gap Adjusting ring can be used to adjust size of discharge hole.
Surfacce of transmission bearing,push stopping plate, bevel lining and main shaft,straight lining and eccentric shaft sleeve, two bevel gears and spherical bearing, are relative mnving wearing surface. All wearing surfaces should be well lubricated and dust controled to ensure crusher's normal running. In addition, safety device should be installed to ensure safety of all transmisison parts.
Medium and fine crushing cone crusher has more dust than coarse crushing cone crusher,so sophisiticated dust control device is necessary. Presently spring cone crusher usually use water proof dust control device. The water will flow into groove from water pipe and then be piped out from drain pipe togetehr with dust.
Safety applicance in spring cone crusher is a circle of springs installed on the body. When theer is metals which are not crushable fall into crushing chamber, fixed cone and support ring will put up and press the springs, and then distance between movable cone and lining surface of fixed cone, at this time metals which are not crushable will be discharged from dishcarge hole.After metals be chscharged support ring and adjusting ring will be recovered by tensile force of springs. This can ensure safety of the crusher by a large extent.
If cone crusher stops with loading,it can only be restarted after minerals left in the crushing chamber be removed. Hydraulic cleaning system is usually made up of motor,oil pump,oil box,cleaning jack,pipelines,control valve,control meter,etc.
Main wear parts and their damages:
Wearing conditions, or touching moulage of the cone crusher,can most truly reflects loading conditions of the crusher, and effects of repair and installation on the crusher. From analysis of wearing condition wearing characters and wearing laws can be found,the characters and laws found can be used to guide design work of crusher and they are also ultimate basis for reasons of disorders.
Usage and maintenance of cone crusher:
1. operation of cone crusher
1) Preperation before starting: do be fully prepared before strating,for example,follwing should be check in advance and then the crusher can be started: irons or minerals left in crushing chamber,signals of electrical connecting device and meter device,size of discharge hole,oil level, oil temperature and locking device of adjust ring.
2) start and stop of the crusher: start the oil pump first,check and ensure that oil pressure,oil temperature and oil amount is within stipulated scope.Only 3-5minutes after oil pump start and ensures that everything is normal,and then it is ok to send crusher starting signal according to stipulation.Stop the feeder first,and then stop the crusher,oil pump and belt conveyors one by one only after minerals in crushing chamber be discharged completely.
2. maintenance of cone crusher
The operating workers should frequently check the feeding and discharging conditions when cone crusher runs normally. For the feeding there should not be too large size and for dishcarging the discharging size must be up to requests,or size of discharge hole should be adjusted.
Check various kinds of meters to ensure normal displaying,check main parts of the crusher to ensure they are not loosen;check dust-proof device and sound of crusher to ensure normal running.
