Brief introduction Of Impact Crusher:
Impact Crusher is designed according to the impact principle to crush stuff. Actually it is a new high-efficiency crusher,which is improved on the basis of hammer crusher.Impact crusher can be used to crush limestone,asbestos ore, coal, quartz sand, calcium carbide, dolomite, iron sulfide ore and so on. It can be applied to coarse crushing,medium crushing or fine crushing.

Impact crusher is a crushing machine that use impact energy to crush stuff. On the part of mechanical energy application, machines using impact energy is superior to machinces using static pressure to crush stuff by extrusion.
Jaw Crusher is basically used to crush stuff by extrusion,while impact crusher is used to crush stuff by impact energy,which belongs to high-energy crusher.
Working Principle Of Impact Crusher:
It is a crushing machine that uses the impact energy to crush stuff. When the stuff enters the field of the hammer, it is impacted by the hammers, thrown onto the impact plate, and crushed. The stuff springs from the impact plate, is impacted by the hammers again, and thrown onto impact plate. This process will last until the stuff meets the requirement and falls from the machine. Adjusting the distance between impact frame and rotor frame can change the shape and size of the output.
When some stuff that cannot be crushed enters the machine, the impact frame will fallback, the stuff falls from the machine. This device can guarantee the machine cannot be damaged.
Performance and use:
Impact crusher appears a little late,while it develops very rapidly. At present, it has been widely applied to medium crushing,fine crushing,also coarse crushing in cement, building materials, coal,chemical industry and mining.The reason why Impact Mill develops so rapidly is for the following advantages:
High crushing ratio:the crushing ratio of impact crusher is about 30-40,even the max can be 150.While the max ratio of other crushers is less than 10.
Therefore, for the present popular three-stage crushing plant,if using impact crusher in it,there will only need one-stage or two-stage to finish the crushing,which greatly simplify the production process, save investment.
High crushing efficiency, low energy consumption: for impact strength of normal stuff is far lower than compressive strength,at the same time, when stuff is impacted by high-speed hammer and impact plate,stuff is crushed firstly along the joint interface and weak&vulnerable organization.Therefore its crushing efficency is high and electric energy consumption is low.
Homogeneous final product size,less excessive comminution.In the crushing process, larger stuff is crushed to a great extent, while smaller one is not crushed under some circumstances,so there is homogeneous final product size and less excessive comminution.
Selectively crushed. In the impact crushing process,useful minerals and gangue are firstly crushed along the joint interface in order to facilitate the separation of useful minerals,especially for coarse crushing of useful minerals, which is more remarkable.
Great adaptability. Impact Mill can be used to process brittle stone,fibrous stone and medium hard stone,particularly suitable for brittle stone such as limestone,so it is proper to use impact crusher in cement and chemical industry. Small size, light weight, simple structure, easy maintenance.
For the above advantages,impact crusher is widely used all over the world.However if to process hard stone,the hammer and impact plate will be badly worn. In addition,impact crusher is a crushing equipment making use of high-speed rotation and impact,so it has high requiremnts for precision of mechanical parts, and also for static balance and dynamic balance in order to extend the service life.
Use and maintenance:
In normal use, the operator adjusts the radial clearance between impact plate and hammer mainly according to wear pattern of hammer and final product size. With hammer worn,the final product will be gradually coarse. At present, our hammer and impact plant is made of high manganese steel.
In addition, the bearing of impact crusher should be installed strictly in accordance with our factory's regulation, checking and adjusting the clearance of bearing and lubricating device, timely replacing sealing ring in order to ensure the normal operation of bearing.
Repair and maintenance:
Impact crusher is a crushing equipment with high-speed rotation and inertia.It is very important to do well normal handling and maintenance for safe operation in the long run.
Before starting,it needs to inspect the equipment carefully, for example,fasteners is loose or not,the tear and wear should be replaced or not,lubrication and cooling system is ok or not,etc.
It should start as following sequence: dust removal equipment--conveying equipment—crusher and feeder.These machines shoud run withour load firstly,after making sure there is no abnormal condition,these machines can run with load.
When stopping machines running, it should be according to the sequence of production flow chart, which is in contrary to the starting sequence: Feeder has to be stopper firstly,when materials in crusher is discharged completely, then main motor and final product conveying equipment system can be stopped.
Materials should be feeded continuously and evenly to prevent bigger material than required size and metel from being feeded.
In the process of running, you should pay more attention to inspect lubricating system, adding or replacing the lubricating oil regularly. The temperature of rotor-bearing should be below 60 °, the max temperature can not exceed 70 °;
When the final product size is too big,we should stop to check the wear pattern of hammer and impact plate, the clearance between hammer and impact plante,sealing and dust collection in workshop should be done well.
