VSI Sand Making Machine brief introduction:
VSI Sand Making Machine is developed by our company and it is with the impact of materials and materials or materials and metal impact plates. This unit with two cavities: crushing between materials and crushing between materials and liners. “ crushing between materials” is usually used in the hard materials’ processing , sand production capacity is morn then 40% .

This product is widely used in metal and non-metallic minerals, highway, water conservancy and hydropower, Refractory,abrasives, glass-ceramic materials, urban construction aggregate, artificial sand and a variety of metallurgical slag fine and coarse grinding operation, in particular on the medium hard, special hard and corrosive materials, such as grinding silicon carbide, carborundum , sintered bauxite, magnesia, etc., it is with more superiority then other types crusher .

Crushing between materials:
Materials vertical fall from the upper part of the crusher, part of the them go into the high-speed rotation of the impeller cavity through the material distributor and feeding tube .is shot out of impeller by the high-speed centrifugal force. they are crushed by another part of material which fall into the impeller as Umbrella form through the material distributor . after crushed with each other, will whirl in the impeller and the cavity vortex formation and a series of impact and crushing .

Crushing between material and liner:
Materials vertical fall from the upper part of the crusher,then go into the high-speed rotation of the impeller cavity through the feeding tube.is shot out of impeller by the high-speed centrifugal force. They are crushed with the adjustable metal impact plate or the impact rod in the eddy cavity.

Characteristic :
Lubrication system to ensure more reliable operation; can adjustable the feed hopper to ensure the best volume of feed material; products were cube-type ; high-yield low-power.

Working Principle:
VSI vertical shaft impact crusher is use of new high-speed rotation of the material on its own mutual friction then broken ( crushing between materials ). its largest feed particle size must be in accordance with the technical performance of the machine parameter table provides the particle size, the material which is bigger then designated size into the crusher is forbidden . the largest moisture content is below 20% 。usually the stone from the stone washing machine can be crushed by this machine directly.
The output size of the vertical shaft impact crusher is related with the Ore characteristics and the input size. The friable ore , the smaller the feed particle size , the higher pass rate of the size of products . In contrast the lower.To change the impeller speed, particle size also can be adjustable.  When the output size of the products from the crusher is not bigger then 10mm, the pass rate is 60-90%, in order to ensure product size 100% passing rate, the use of classification equipments with closed-circuit crushing is necessary.

The installed power of the VSI vertical shaft impact crusher based on materials and production in the scope of configuration (user can provide the type of ore, feed size, output size requirements and then we are responsible for matching the corresponding models, but also can be configured according to customer specific requirements)..

Material through the entry gate to enter the impeller of the rotor.the impeller will do high-speed rotation then traject the material through the flow pass and hit on the impact plates then be crushed,and then the small particles of materials discharged from the bottom rack. This kind of crush adopt the internal air circulation system, the air flow generated from the process of the high-speed rotating then form a internal self-circle in the crusher .in addition, when need to separate the crushed products, should configure the vortrap, relying on the pressure generated from the  air currents inside the crusher to achieve material classification,to solve the dispersion of dust and cleaning up the environment, rather than increase the power consumption.
Materials are threw out by the high-speed rotating impeller on a direct hit in the lining, and some materials and re-bounce of a collision with other materials, so that the materials meet the requirements will flow out from the cavity,and the materials did not meet the standards will continue to continue to be crushed by this process until up to standard .so this kind of crusher is called “ crushing between materials” vertical shaft impact crusher.
The particle size distribution of the VSI vertical shaft impact crusher is related with the nature of the material, impeller speed, the material density in the crushing cavity and the feed ration of the rotor, and the more brittle materials, the higher impeller speed, the higher content of fine-grained products.

Performance:

Main components of the VSI Sand Making Machine includes : motor, main shaft assembly, impeller, material hopper, material distributor, crushing cavity, rack, lubrication devices,etc.

1. Transmission devices (including motors): As the name suggests, the motor and transmission device are the driving force for the whole set of crusher.
2. Main shaft assembly: Main shaft assembly installed on the base for the transmission of electrical power coming from the V-belt and to support the impeller rotation, the main shaft assembly composed by the bearing block, main shaft, bearing ,etc
3. Impeller: Impeller structure is a hollow cylinder, mounted on the top head of the main shaft assembly, and transmit the wheelbase by the Kegelmantel and the linkage and rotate by high-speed,the impeller is a key component of the VSI .
The material enter the center of the impeller through the central feed pipe of the material distributor, evenly distributed to various launch flow pass by the material distributor in the center of impeller. Install the wear-resistant blocks which made by special material in the launch flow pass. wear-resistant blocks can be replaced after wear, impeller speed up and throw out the material which impacted on the pad of the crushing cavity ,and self-crushed strongly.
4. Material hopper: the structure of the hopper is one inverted gengon,There is one wear-resistant ring in the feed inlet, the material enter into the VSI through the material hopper .
5. Material distributor: the material distributor installed on the upper of the crushing cavity, those role is to distribute the incoming material from the feeder, and make part of materials from the center feed tube directly into the impeller gradually accelerated to a high degree and be projectiled out. It also make another part of materials enter into the outer impeller through the outer of the center tube and be crushed by the high speed material thrown out from the impeller.not to increase the energy consumption, increase productivity, improve the crushing efficiency.
6.Crushing cavity: the structure of the crushing cavity is the annular space formed by upper and lower cylinders. There are two holes in the upper and lower cover of the lower cylinder. connected to the upper cylinder, then the lower part connect the discharge opening. The impeller rotate with high-speed in the crushing cavity. The crushing cavity can also contain the material which formed a material lining,
The material crushed in the crushing cavity, the material lining separate the crushing process and the crushing cavity wall, make the crushing only limited between materials.and played the role of wear-resistant and self-lining. Set up the observation hole on the cover of the upper cylinder, in order to observe the wear condition of the wear-resistant block of launch outlet of the flow pass on the impeller and the upper liner of the crushing cavity. The observation hole must be closed sealed when the crusher is working. The material distributor mounted on the upper cylinder in the crushing cavity.
The air flow generated by high-speed rotating impeller will form an internal circulatory system through material distributor and the impeller in the crushing cavity.
7. Base: crushing cavity , main shaft assembly, motor ,transmission devices were installed in the base, central base for the four-prism space for the installation of the main shaft assembly, and form the discharge channel on the both sides of the four-prism space.
8.Support: according to the different working site of the crusher, you can choose whether or not use the support .
9.Lubrication system: in the upper bearing and lower bearing of the main shaft assembly, in order to facilitate maintenance and filling oil, the oil-cup can be diverted outside of the machine.
